The Company is a film and media group that focuses on television and film production using a digital studio (VFx/CGI), and media distribution. It has operations and co-production partners in Singapore, China and North America, which include other world renowned studios, producers, directors and distributors.
The Company plans to develop and produce a slate of ten films, which are adapted from internationally renowned titles from existing platforms such as video and online games, comics, books and television series. CGI science fiction and fantasy movies are two of the most popular single genres of movies in the world. In spite of being niche genres, their box offices have dominated the market.
Market
The slate of films will have a distribution deal in place to guarantee international distribution. North America will be the key territory (30% projected profit share). This structure gives the benefit of North American distribution without the disadvantages of financing films through American studios, since studio overhead and fees extract a large proportion of upside from a film. With the Company’s co-production status and partnership, distribution will also be extended to Chinese cinemas.
The estimated budget for each film will range USD 20 million to USD 30 million with each movie taking approximately 2 years to complete and premier.
