The Company produces pasta, biscuits and flour, and is owned by a large industrial conglomerate group that has more than 100 years of experience in the production of food products.
Products are sold under several well known own brands with the following mix:
- Cookies, Biscuits and Snack Foods (42%)
- Pasta (36%)
- Flour and Cereals (22%)
Flour is produced in a 70,000 sq.ft milling facility. A new 200,000 sq.ft facility with state of the art installations has been recently completed and started production. The Company has a large production capacity that can produce 7,800 tons/month of pasta and cookies, and 5,200 tons of wheat flour.
Sales are highly diversified with no single client generating more than 3% of revenue. Domestic markets account for 100% of revenues. The main customers are supermarkets and food distributors.
The Company has about 350 employees.
Sales are estimated in 2013 at 120 million reals (~ USD 21m), and EBITDA of 12 million reals (~ USD 2m).
