Outfittery, a curated shopping service for men’s clothing, has raised €13 million in new funding to expand into other European markets beyond Germany, Austria and Switzerland where it currently operates.
The round was led by Germany’s Highland Capital Partners Europe, with participation from existing investors, including Holtzbrinck Ventures, Mangrove Capital Partners, High-Tech Gründerfonds, RI Digital Ventures and Kreativwirtschaft (the VC fund managed by IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft).
Total funding for the Berlin-based startup is unknown, having perviously raised an undisclosed round.
Founded in 2012 by female entrepreneurs Anna Alex and Julia Bosch, Outfittery offers a curated online shopping experience for men’s clothes, using personal shoppers to curate customised outfits based on a shopper’s preferences, which they are then sent but only pay for what they keep. It’s similar to U.S.-based Trunk Club.
