Reuters — COFCO Tunhe Co Ltd announced that it has completed the acquisition of sugar import and export business as well as related assets from COFCO Corporation group companies on June 28, 2013.
According to the announcement, the Company has acquired sugar business and related assets from COFCO Corporation and a cereal and oil company, and a Hong Kong-based sugar subsidiary of the Company has acquired a 100% stake in a food trading company from two subsidiaries of COFCO Corporation. The transaction price is not disclosed.
