The Company is a diversified agricultural enterprise that includes an award winning vineyard, a certified organic Eucalyptus radiata oil plantation, a high quality skincare product business, and a Visitor Centre and Cellar Door.
The vineyard includes 15,400 vines that were planted in 1999 and 2000, which produce up to 110 tons of grapes annually that are used to produce award winning, high altitude, cool climate wines. Renowned wine critic and judge, James Halliday Wines rated the wines 5 stars out of 5 and wrote that the estate “is leader of the pack of the New England.”
Market
The Company has the world’s only certified organic Eucalyptus radiata Australiana oil plantation. The plantation was planted on about 600 acres with a specialized drip irrigation system that includes more than 1000 km of piping and a pressurized pumping system to provide every tree with exactly the same amount of water and dissolved organic fertilizer.
The oil is used in the Company’s skin care product range and sold in bulk. Contracts are in place for the sale of the entire annual yield of Eucalyptus oil.
Based upon the Eucalyptus oil production the Company developed a skin care range and therapeutic products, and established and developed a market both in Australia and overseas for them.
The award winning Visitor Centre and Cellar Door operates successfully seven days per week. It caters to locals, travelers, bus groups and private functions.
