The Company is the largest player in the market of flexible packaging for dairy products, and one of the most important customers of Aluar (the sole aluminum smelter and rolling mill products manufacturer in Argentina) in aluminum foil.
History of the Company
The Company started operations in 1989 as sub-contractor for other manufacturers, producing flexible packaging. In 1992, it started manufacturing for final customers products which were not regularly available in the market. As a result of their permanent contact with converters and suppliers of raw materials from Europe and the USA, and taking advantage of their technical capacity, they decided to manufacture special products under more demanding standards.
At the same time, changes in the dairy product market contributed to the Company’s growth, in view of the lack of ability on the part of competitors. This gained the Company a strong support from customers because of its reliability and of the excellent quality of its products.
The Company implemented a quality program among its customers, investing in new equipment and personnel training. This allowed them to take a firm share of the market of flexible packaging for dairy products, especially thermo-sealed lids.
The Company has also been receiving strong support on the part of suppliers due to their strict fulfillment of their commitments. The Company has always kept adequate inventories in order to apply the “just-in-time” system in handling customers orders. In 2001 they were awarded the ISO 9002 Certification.
Buildings and Land
The Company has a building of 32,000 sqft located in an industrial park, which is owned by the two largest shareholders. The building is rented under a long term rental contract to the Company.
The company has also the following properties under a rental contract:
a) Building of 4.000 sq ft located in Haedo, province of Buenos Aires, used as warehouse for machinery
b) Office in the city of Cordoba

Work Force
- The Company employs a total of 71 people.
- The union contract terms as well as all labor contract terms in Argentina cover several topics.
- There are no unions per company, but per activity, f.e. Plastic Industry Union, Metallurgical Industry Union, etc. Therefore, the 25 unionized people are members of the respective union.
- The relationship of the company with the union has always been excellent.
- The average age of the personnel is 38 years.
- The average seniority is of 5.4 years.
